Day 25-27

Day 25 Monday July 21st

On Monday I ate at this awesome vegan restaurant in NYC. I ended up eating a 'mock' meat dish with loads of raw veggies. For a snack I had some Asian chips and a soy milk shake. I drink lots of water that day because it was very hot outside and I spent most of the day walking around NYC. I had a very late dinner because of the insane schedule that I had, at this diner in Stamford. My diner was a veggie burger and onion rings. I did a lot of walking and standing that day so I am sure I got a half way decent work out that day since i'm not used to walking about as much as I did that day.

Day 26- Tuesday July 22nd
I ate felafel for lunch with my friend that was out of town visiting. We didn't really eat much during the day because we had such a late lunch. While I was at work I got hungry and didn't pack a dinner since I was running around all day and had some pretzels for dinner. Not the healthiest food day but I was once again running about. I need to start packing healthier snacks and snack thru out the day. Later that night I ate some pineapple chunks.

Day 27- Wednesday July 23
Breakfast- apple and goji berry juice
Lunch- Veggie burger and fries
Dinner-Tofu scramble

I didn't really eat any snacks at all yesterday and I did a lite work out. I started walking up the 8 flights of stairs at my job on my break. It's a great way to get an additional work out in.

I had to retake my license photo yesterday and I felt like I looked SO fat. It was definitely something that made me realize I need to work a little harder if I want to be thin by this time next year.

The little things I've found help dramatically is to cut out the side dishes like fries and onion rings. Anything fried makes your entire day so much more caloric. I started using sparkpeople.com to track calories and you'd be amazed at how much calories spike with just those little amounts of stuff on the side. Start asking for salad instead and the weight comes right off :)

Yeah, I know. You're totally right. Thank you. I am going to try to start getting in more raw fruits and veggies in my diet as of tomorrow. I am going grocery shopping.
